Govt. Ayurveda Marma Hospital, Kanjiramkulam
Govt. Ayurveda Marma Hospital at Kanjiramkulam started functioning on 31-03-1979 as a 10-bedded hospital as per order GO(MS)No. 59/79/HD dated 21.03.1979. This is the only Marma Hospital in India in Govt. sector. Hundreds of people approach this hospital every day for treatment from Thiruvananthapuram district, other districts and from other states.

- In the year 1995, this hospital was renamed as Kunju Krishnan Nadar memorial Govt. Ayurveda Marma Hospital.
- On 29th April, 2000 the hospital started functioning in the new building inaugurated by the then honourable Chief Minister Shri. A K Antony.
- On 19th February, 2009 the new OP block started functioning after it's inauguration by the then Honourable Health Minister Smt. P K Sreemathi Teacher.
- In July 2009, the Hospital Lab started functioning. In March 2010, Neethi Medical Store started functioning in the Hospital.
- The Ayurveda Sports Unit of Thiruvananthapuram district started it's function very effectively in 2012. The Sports Clinics functioning under the aegis of this Hospital in the LNCP at Karyavattom, Ayyankali Memorial Residential school at Vellayani, G V Raja Sports school at Mailam and in the Central Stadium at Thiruvananthapuram are a great support to Sports athletes.
- In July, 2015 a Yoga Centre of high repute started functioning in this hospital. Here facilities are available to learn and practise Yoga in a scientific way and thus gain healing and health benefits.
- In September, 2015 the new sports I P Pay Ward block started functioning in the Hospital. Here free in-patient treatment is made available for enhancing the performance of national and international sports persons.
- In 2016, an X-ray unit started functioning in the hospital. On 30th October 2020, a new building built as a part of hospital renovation and was inaugurated by the then honourable Health Minister of Kerala,Smt K K Shailaja teacher. Currently 15 pay ward rooms, 4 treatment rooms and a yoga hall are functional.
