Madhuram mathruthwam is the flagship project of government ayurveda dispensary, maranjery which ensures the postnatal care and ayurvedic treatment for pregnant women along with the existing treatments. It started in the year 2017-2018 with a fund of 1 lakh. Later the fund was raised to 5 lakh. About 450 people enjoys the benefit of this project. The major objectives of this project are making awareness on ayurvedic treatment towards the pregnant women in the specified area around the dispensary, highlight the importance of breastfeeding and postnatal care which sticks on ayurveda by contacting people personally and provides treatment according to their needs. To be the beneficiary of this project, the eligible people should submit the documents which proves their delivery and permanent residentship in Maranjery panchayat within 45 days after delivery.
