Prasuthi tantra and Striroga is a traditional well flourished speciality of Ayurveda. The Department of Indian Systems of Medicine has been rendering this speciality service throughout Kerala through its own institutions. Prasuthi tantra projects focuses on the wellbeing of female population mainly through post-natal care, antenatal care, management of dysmenorrhoea, leucorrhoea, and menopausal syndrome. The project is being implemented in selected centres in each district. Medicines are given to the patients approaching concerned centres. IP management is also provided, if needed. These are absolutely free to patients.
