As a part of continuous upgradation of knowledge, skills and attitude, trainings are conducted for different cadres of employees of the department as per the State Training Policy (STP). STP was formulated followed by high-level brainstorming sessions involving the top officials of the department and the officials from Institute of Management in Government (IMG). Revisions are made to the STP at regular intervals. Trainings are conducted at IMG Thiruvananthapuram and the regional centres at Ernakulam and Kozhikode. Apart from this, specific trainings are conducted for updating the latest trends in the field, by the department directly.
