Project for Developmental disorders in Children

Early detection of developmental disorders which is started in 2014- 2015. Provide free Ayurveda treatment to developmentally challenged children. Implementing officer is District Medical Officer Provide supportive therapies like

Physiotherapy

Speech therapy

Behavioural therapy

Project Co-ordinators are Professor and Head, Dept. of Kaumarabhritya (Paediatrics) &Superintendent, Govt. Ayurveda College Hospital for Women and Children, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram.

Beneficiaries are residents of Thiruvananthapuram District Panchayath under 12 yrs of age, being enrolled by screening camps organised by the Department of Kaumarabhritya, Govt Ayurveda College, Tvpm, DMO, ISM, Tvpm along with Thiruvananthapuram District Panchayath. Main centre is Govt. Ayurveda College Hospital for Women and Children, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram with 20 beds in-patient facility.
