Diabetes is one of the most common life style diseases. It is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by a high blood sugar level over a prolonged period of time. Complications of diabeties include problems that develop rapidly or over time. Among them the most common complication is diabetic retinopathy that affect the eyes. This is one of the major complication that affect more than half of the population and can cause visual loss and blindness in people. So early diagnosis can help to protect the vision.

This project aims early diagnosis and address the problems of diabetes patients by providing Ayurveda medications along with their current prescribed medications from other systems. For that it provide preventive curative as well as rehabilitative management from the hospital at OP and IP level. More than 300 patients took the treatment and follow-up each year under this project. All the necessary checkups are providing from the hospital. This project is opened to the public and they are advised to visit the concerned OPD once in a week (Wednesday).
