Jeevathalam is a project funded by Sultan Bathery Municipality. Beneficiaries of the project are ST women between the age of 30 to 60 years. Last year Municipality gave an amount of 2 lakhs for the project and they raised the fund to 4.5 lakhs this year. Patients were asked to submit a copy of their Ration card and Adhar card for registering for the project. Medical camps for the Jeevathalam patients were done on all Saturdays at Taluk hospital Sultan bathery. Jeevathalam project plays an important role in the health care of the beneficiaries, especially in cases like general debility, anemia, skin diseases, IBS, osteo arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, leucorrhoea, etc, and also beneficial in boosting the immunity in these covid days. In 2020-21 year the number of beneficiaries were 76 and it is raised to 130 by 2021-22.
