As the title designates "Ammayum Kunjum" is a mother and child health care program executed at selected Govt dispensaries of Palakkad district with the aid of corresponding local bodies. Scheme target at bringing natural healthy gestation after the conception and thus making the course of delivery normal and uncomplicated for the mother. Project also covers the care of post- partum period dealing with all physical and psychological matters of mother up to 6 months. Regular follow ups and medications are provided to the desirable cases. It also addresses the health hitches of the new born and child for this 6 months spell.
