Punarnava is a project intended for the management and rehabilitation of post stroke patients through Ayurveda. It is an intervention by the Indian Systems of Medicine department in palliative care too. Panchakarma treatment is given to the needy as inpatient along with physiotherapy, yoga, speech therapy in accordance with the condition. The services are absolutely free to patients. Through this project, the quality of life of patients improved. Furthermore, the recurrence chance of stroke can be prevented too.

This project has given back the quality life to 1,712 persons so far.
